If there’s one thing that sums up the way we go about serving our clients it’s our belief that outstanding things happen when the best minds work together.
In the 80 years since Allen & Overy was founded, we have created a collaborative culture where talented individuals, working together, can truly flourish and achieve great things.
Imaginative, independent thinking is not just encouraged, it’s expected.
We foster diverse viewpoints so that we can draw on a constant stream of new ideas to solve the toughest legal issues our clients face, wherever they are in the world.
Global delivery of local knowledge
Although we have a long heritage, there’s nothing old-fashioned about our thinking. We have the confidence to think creatively, to take carefully calculated risks and to support new approaches in our client work.
Over the years, this approach has seen us grow from a London-based law firm into a truly global practice with 39 offices in 27 countries.
An ability to spot changing trends and adapt to them quickly has underpinned that growth. It’s why in 2010 we opened offices in Australia, Indonesia and Qatar – important new strategic markets for our clients.
It’s why we are continuing to build and develop the network of associate law firms we work with in 100 other countries, regularly bringing them together with our own lawyers and our clients to share ideas and strengthen working ties.
Because our culture is built on the idea that we can achieve extraordinary results by working creatively together, we can draw on the knowledge, experience and expert opinion of our people at a moment’s notice.
So when we talk about global coverage, we’re not just talking about having offices in some important cities across the world.
We mean being able to pull together all our resources and respond to our clients’ needs in almost any country, at any time.
